I found myself in clay

I am Finnish ceramics artist (b. 1959) from Jyväskylä. I studied ceramics in Wetterhoff House of Arts and Creative Handcrafts. Sculptures are the main thing for me. My sculptures represent the universal human experiences of emotions, strength, sensitivity and vulnerability as well as our shared dependence on nature.

I have been a teacher, an artist and an entrepreneur, for over 30 years in total. I have taken part to several exhibitions in Finland and in 2012 I participated in a ceramics festival in Hungary with my Art video The Fervour of Spirit (below) or watch in YouTube >>
